Rika: ...and so i was at the Parlor, getting my hair trimmed. I told the guy that i wanted a trim, two inches off. Thirty minutes later, the big idiot showed me the biggest goddamned mistake he ever did in his entire fucking life.

Jess: Eh? what is it?

Rika: Instead of cutting two inches, the fucking bastard cut off ten goddamned inches off. *sound of fist punching brick wall*

Jess: EEHH???? What did Suisei say about it?

Rika: Nothing. He turned the bastard into an ice cube when he heard me screaming profanities at the guy. Im never going back at that parlor, ever. I'll just use my powers to control hair growth if possible...

Time for yet ANOTHER lazy GM update

Our GM has been lazy or forgetful, recently, and now it's time for me to do the dirty work. bleah.

GIFTS FROM SIMDESCHA!!! Part 3


Hi there, Simmers -

Trevia and I bought these Rays of Light CDs just so we could get our
hands on the covers!!! I kinda liked them, but Trevia favored the
Irika Album better. And then, out of nowhere, these guys from DesCha
Promotions ask us to advertise...again! We get the CDs free AND we
get PAID!!! Isn't that great?

We're uploading a zipped set of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th albums of ROL
(the albums where Sosuke's the secondary guitarist, not Asuka)...
unfortunately we couldn't get our hands on a copy of album Numero
Uno, but we'll find it...

these should brighten up the room of any ROL fan...

And Trevia wants me to upload a copy of her album cover as a Sim
Object! It's at the files section.

And we have the images to boot! This can't get any cooler!

BUT IT DOES!!!

The DesCha R&D are going to release a new soda drink within the
week...it's a brand based on consumer surveys...and it tastes
great!!!

(Cool thing about my job is that I get to test stuff way before it's
released into the market...I love my job!)

Number 1:

DJ Snake takes up temporary residence in Club G

Andrew Matthews, otherwise known as DJ Snake, will be taking up temporary DJ Residence in Club G.

The reasons for his sudden career change are unknown, but a RapBarakz spokesman told this reporter that DJ Snake will be acting as the DJ in Club G because "Club G's resident DJ, DJ Travis, is sick."

It then seems Mr. Matthews will be up for two weeks straight, handling the work of Germaine St. Germaine, A.K.A Rush Waffle, A.K.A DJ Travis, while he's getting all well and ready to take back his job.



Number 2:

Misuna Mall enters Phase 1 of Major Renovation

Mall Rats were in shock as DesCha's largest mall, Misuna, shut down its west wing to customers early March 19. Shortly after this discovery, the Misuna Mall Development Authority, put up a press conference. Earl Lendhardt, head of the Authority, gave this statement:

"We (Misuna Mall) closed down our West Wing today as part of a Major Renovation Project which will, if all goes well, take from 3-4 months to complete. We plan to enlarge the space occupied by the main building, as well as better the already high-quality parks and park shops we have in the said Wing. For those of you who worry about the shops in the West Wing closing, don't. We have relocated most of the shops as stalls at the North and East Wings of our Mall."

Further Inquiries report that this is only the first phase in a series of renovations that encompass the entire compund. Such a project would nearly double the current land area the Mall is currently taking.



Number 3:

Multi-Millionaire Charles Konoda IV to pick lot for contruction of new Capsule Cafe

Charles "Charlie" Konoda, DesCha's 8th richest individual, is currently pondering over a lot on which he will build his "best Capsule Cafe yet."

"And the biggest, too!", he adds. "With the best coffee capsules money can buy...and they are the best."

Konoda has come under fire from several parties, including CSC, a "natural" coffee shop; the Environmental Protection Authority; and Club G. Through all this, though, he has only managed to strengthen his business, now owning half of all non-organic coffee establishments in the country.

"I owe it all to my keen business sense", he boasts. "If it's worth the risk, then risk it - if it's not..." (He folds his right hand into a tight fist)



Number 4:

Cafe G to relocate to Main Residential Area

Cafe G, which is currently located in DesCha West - Koboro, will be moving to the Main Restidential Area in DesCha Central.

This was announced at about lunchtime at a press conference held by industry mogul Merideth Shizoutu at the said Cafe.

"Cafe G caters primarily to the wishes of its customers -" she said, " - so what better way to give them quality service than to move near their residences? It would be a plus for residents since they can take a cuppa before proceeding to work."

Residents in areas outside DesCha Central, however, are not happy about the move.

"I thought it was okay for me to travel all the way from DesCha East for their coffee... now I'm not so sure", said Akihito Shinsuke, a businessman.

But Ms. Shitzoutu says not to throw stones. "Patrons should not be angered by the move", says she, "but instead be delighted that they will be able to taste their favorite coffee in a location that's more close to home...theirs or someone else's."

Synopsis:
Episode 6AP01 - "One time or another"

Main Characters:

Anatole Petronovski - "Alcha"

Anatole and his newly adopted dog Kibble find
themselves in a precarious situation.

Earlier that day, Shizuka from the Violet Ribbon
Dorm (Tomy's Hetero Crush) dropped by to say hello
to Alcha. Being the coy one that he is, he invites
her in.

With her pheromones filling his brain to bursting,
Alcha decides a risky maneuver - try to steal a
kiss from Shizuka.

The first attempt doesn't go all too well
(see Alcha1.jpg) - neither does attempt #2
(see Alcha2.jpg) - he finally tries for a third
time.

It fails. (see Alcha3.jpg)

Broken-hearted, Alcha decides to proceed to Club G
in order to cool his head.

On the way in, he sees Edo Tokugawa
(Alcha4.jpg, man in white flares) and Wheels
(Alcha4.jpg, snowboarder's outfit) from
Radical Exponent. He also meets several other
people, including DJ Buffa and Anki Shitzoutu.

His sprits "upped", he proceeds to the bar, only
to find Shizuka with Tomy Najoru (no pic). His heart
broken, he heads home in total disbelief.

What of Shizuka and Tomy? What are DJ Buffa and
Anki doing without DJ Snake and Arnold Mason? And
where's Kyle to check on Tomy's... wierd dating
habits?

Okay, I'll make this as "to the point" as possible. If you want to play Automaton, there's only one way to do it:

"The Sims"

Now, if you are interested in having a sim live your life (he WILL live your life - I've seen wierder things) just send me a nice, ample description of your character's game outfit (the one he/she is most likely to wear for days without washing.) Next up, use The Sims to Create a House.

(For those who don't have The Sims, just give me a floor plan and color scheme. I can do the house for ya, but I won't focus time and energy into something like that.)

Next, go to the Sims directory. Enter the ("UserData"+Neighborhood Number) then look for the house number corresponding to the address in your game, get that file and send it to kindred_bastard@yahoo.com with this subject:

DCAutonomy_(Character Name)_(Lot Number)

That's it!

Oh, by the way, the current neighborhood now supports 40 lots in Unleashed, so Descha-ing should be no problem for these guys.

Aftermath:

Episode Summary

-BEGIN TRANSMISSION-

R04/U01 - "Love and Mercy"

Main Cast:

Rika Miyamuri
Ueno Kyujin

Episode Synopsis:

Amidst the threat from the "Zodiac" continually increasing, Rika
suddenly recieves an anonymous call requesting her to meet with an
individual in Tokyo Pier. Fearing for her life, she calls Grade, the
Spec Ops Commander, who then makes arrangements for Ueno Kyujin to
escort her.

Upon arriving in Tokyo Pier, Rika and Ueno suddenly find themselves
in the middle of an ambush set up by the Zodiac Leader in order
to "silence" Rika. A terrific battle ensues, so much so that the
Leader himself makes an appearance. Five of the Zodiac prepare to do
battle when Rika vanishes, running away for fear of her life.

Unbeknownst to her, somone is watching. This "someone" persues her
and introduces himself as "The Walker of the Path". He tries to
convince her to join him and the Zodiac. Rika refuses, and tries in
vain to escape.

Meanwhile, Ueno, who suffered a bullet wound in the initial strike,
does battle with 5 Zodiac members! Finally, after an extended chase,
the Zodiac Leader confronts him in a one-on-one battle to the death.
This does not go well on Ueno's case, as he is suddenly burdened by
his enemy's "motion-detector" attack.

Rika and the mysterious man continue their discussion of Good and
Evil until the Walker probes Rika's emotions and learns of her son,
Hideki. Believing that Hideki is "the son of a path-walker and a
demon (Suisei)", the man changes his plans and teleports to the
Miyamuri-Shiroi household.

Ueno, now facing a life-or-death situation, consults his mind for the
solution to his predicament. The answer comes in the form of Gale,
the so-called "Guardian of Wind", who instructs Ueno to "become what
he controls." Heeding Gale's advice, Ueno manages to turn himself
into the wind, baffling his enemies. Taking his chance, Ueno escapes,
hoping to destroy the Zodiac under better circumstances.

When Ueno and Rika arrive at the Miyamuri-Shiroi household, they
discover that the house became a battle ground between Hiroaki,
Nehru, Shin, and the Walker. Hiroaki and Nehru are simply knocked
out, but Shin suffers extensive injuries trying to protect Hideki.
Thankfully the attack was not continued any further.

As all of them enter the hospital, Shin in a stretcher, he holds
Rika's hand and says:

"It was wonderful to ... have served... you..."
